The Ovolo Hotels Scholarship (VIC/NSW) is awarded to (commencing or continuing) domestic and (continuing) international Hospitality students in any study area, based on merit or equity.

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship, you must: Fall into one of two categories; Merit: Demonstrate academic excellence via results achieved during previous and current studies. Equity: Demonstrate financial and/or educational disadvantage. Include evidence that you; have a disadvantaged financial background; or are from, or are intending to move from, a rural or regional area are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait islander; or have disability, long-term medical illness or mental health condition or experience difficult circumstances AND you must fit into one of the below criteria: Domestic Students: Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold permanent Humanitarian Visa; and. Be enrolled or intending to enrol full time or part time in any hospitality course at the William Angliss Institute (Melbourne or Sydney campus). OR International Students: Be an international student and hold a valid student visa; and Have completed one full semester of full-time studies at William Angliss Institute in the previous semester  NOTE: International students must have studied for at least one semester prior to the scholarship offering.

Amount $3,000

One scholarship of up to $3,000 (AUD) will be available to students in Semesters 1. This is awarded to support the students' skill development, travel, living and other study related tools, resources or/and equipment expenses.
