As a legacy of the 25th Birthday in 2016, UniSA launched the 25th Birthday Grant Fund with the aim of raising funds for scholarships and grants in the key areas of equity, excellence, international, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Alumni, staff, and other supporters donated generously through two fundraising appeals and a landmark fundraising Gala Dinner.

Eligibility

Marketing Description As a legacy of the 25th Birthday in 2016, UniSA launched the 25th Birthday Grant Fund with the aim of raising funds for scholarships and grants in the key areas of equity, excellence, international, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Alumni, staff, and other supporters donated generously through two fundraising appeals and a landmark fundraising Gala Dinner. The UniSA International Scholarship is open to international students enrolled full-time in the second year of an undergraduate program. The scholarship will be awarded to a recipient with high academic achievement (Grade Point Average based on first year of 5.0 or above) and a strong motivation to succeed. Applicants are required to provide a curriculum vitae and a written statement (maximum 500 words) detailing: - academic achievements (including a Grade Point Average based on first year of 5.0 or above) - Reasons for studying their current program. - Future career goals. - Evidence of community engagement. - Ability and willingness to act as a UniSA ambassador (e.g. occasional attendance at events, and/or involvement in filming or interviews to document the impact of the scholarship). To receive the scholarship, applicants must demonstrate a passion for their course, strong motivation to succeed, and have clear future goals. Shortlisted applicants will be required to provide two character references and attend a selection panel interview. Students may be in receipt of another scholarship or grant administered by UniSA. Applicants must also provide a written statement, as outlined above, and Curriculum Vitae to scholarships.prizes@unisa.edu.au
