Global Experience Travel Grant

University of South Australia

The grants will be awarded on an annual basis for on-shore domestic and international undergraduate students enrolled in a UniSA undergraduate award program and currently registered with Global Experience. The grants are administered by the Global Experience program.

Eligibility

Applicants must be students who are undertaking approved off-shore international experiential activities as part of a Global Experience program. Approved activities include: participation in an unpaid volunteer, internship or work experience program undertaken outside of a student's academic program (minimum duration: 12 days); attendance or participation in a globally focused seminar, workshop, conference or symposium; participatory requirements including the presentation of a paper or poster and/or workshop participation; or participation in an overseas competition where offshore attendance forms a requirement of the selection process and funding is not provided by the host organisation or organising body. Applicants must not be in receipt of a UniSA grant, scholarship, prize or award or funding from a host organisation for the primary purpose of undertaking the offshore experiential activity. Applicants will be selected on the basis of a personal written statement (minimum 500 words) outlining the off-shore experiential activity, motivation for participation, and reflection on anticipated outcomes in addition to interview with the selection panel.

Amount $2,000
