Each year the School of Literature, Languages and Linguistics may offer an award known as The Friends of the ANU Classics Museum Grant for Collection Research. The objective of the Award is to support Honours and Master's students in one of the eligible specialisations listed below whose thesis research will include the study of objects in the collection of the ANU Classics Museum, especially their provenance and collection history.
Eligibility
The Award is available each year to a commencing or continuing ANU student who:; is a domestic or international student; receives an offer of admission to an Honours program or a Master’s program at the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences in one of the following fields:; Classical Studies; Archaeology; Anthropology; Art History and Theory; History; Middle Eastern and Central Asian Studies; Museums and Collections; Museum Education and Heritage Interpretation; Intangible Cultural Heritage; any other field deemed relevant by the Selection Committee; will conduct research on the provenance and/or collection history of objects in the ANU Classics Museum.
