In 2023, ANU re-signed an agreement with the Department of International and Cross-Strait Education of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China (Taiwan) (hereunder referred to as "DICE") to continue the Taiwan Australian National University Scholarship until 2028. The scholarship program commenced in 2013 and provides tuition fees and stipends for up to 5 Taiwanese students per year to undertake PhD studies at ANU over the course of the five year agreement. The scholarships will be jointly funded by ANU and DICE.

Continuation based on academic performance; 6 month extension available.
