Scholarship for a Legal Internship in London

The Australian National University (ANU)

The ANU Law School is proud to offer a rare opportunity for one student to undertake a Legal Internship at the International Bar Association in London. The opportunity has been made possible by the College's alumni community in London.The aim of the internship is to provide realistic, high-level and varied legal work experience through a supervised internship. Whilst the internship itself is unpaid, the selected recipient will be provided with a scholarship valued at £8,000.

Eligibility

The award is available each year to a continuing ANU student who:is a domestic or international student; andis enrolled full time in the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree (whether undertaken as a single or flexible double degree) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree (whether undertaken as a single or vertical double degree) in the ANU Law School; andhas successfully completed 90 units of LAWS coded courses; andhas a strong academic record and is able to demonstrate their capacity for the self-reliance which the internship demands.
