The Eccles Scholarship designed to attract international students of high calibre to pursue graduate research at the John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR).

Eligibility

Applicants must: be international students and intend to undertake postgraduate research in medical sciences with JCSMR.

Prior to lodging an application, applicants are strongly encouraged to contact the Convener for Graduate Studies in Medical Sciences, or a prospective supervisor, to discuss the proposed research topic and related matters.

Amount $27,596

The scholarship is valued at $27,596 per year (2019 APA rate). Other benefits include: payment of tuition fees; travel to Canberra from within Australia; reimbursement of some removal expenses; and a thesis reimbursement allowance. The maximum duration of the scholarship is 3 years, with a possible 6-month extension.
