The Steve Ashton Scholarship for the Architectural Profession (SASAP) honours Steve Ashton, co-founder of Ashton Raggatt McDougall (ARM Architecture).As a career architect, Steve undertook a Graduate Diploma of Business Administration at Swinburne to upskill with what he needed to help operate his business at a high-level and work on prominent urban design projects of the highest architectural quality.In honour of Steve, the Ashton-Nixon Bequest seeks to support career architects taking the next leap in their professional development and pursue the business training they need to achieve their goals.The scholarship will support eligible students each year studying either a Vocational Education or Postgraduate level qualification in an aligned business and/or management specialisation at Swinburne. Scholarships are valued up to $30,000.
