This prestigious scholarship was established in memory of the late Sir James McNeill who had a long association with Monash University.

Eligibility

Applicants must: hold an Australian or New Zealand bachelor degree with first class honours (H1); or qualifications and/or research experience deemed equivalent by the University; and be proposing to undertake a doctorate in music, engineering, science or medicine.

Amount $32,732

Tenure is 3 years for a PhD with a possible a 6-month extension.
