Eligibility

Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents, permanent humanitarian visa holders or international students; be commencing full-time in the Honours degree of Bachelor of Science, or the 48 credit point honours year in the Bachelor of Science Advanced with Honours, in an area of mathematical sciences, in the School of Mathematical Sciences at the Monash University Clayton campus; and be supervised by a staff member from the School of Mathematical Sciences. Selection is based on academic merit and tenure on maintaining full-time enrolment.

The scholarship cannot be deferred.

Amount $2,000

The scholarship is valued at: $2,000 for 1 year for students who have achieved an average between 85 and 89 per cent in 24 points of relevant level 3 mathematics units; or $2,500 for 1 year for students who have achieved an average of at least 90 per cent in 24 points of relevant level 3 mathematics units.
