This scholarship is awarded to Monash University medical students who have demonstrated a commitment to becoming a clinician scientist by undertaking the Monash University intercalated MD-PhD pathway. The successful recipients must have been enrolled in their PhD through one of the Schools that is supporting this Scholarship*, and must have submitted their PhD thesis and returned to complete the final year of the Monash University medical degree.
Eligibility
You must meet the following criteria:; Current student enrolled in and commenced the final year (Year 5/D) of the Clayton BMedSc/MD degree (M6011 or M6018) in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences as a Monash Campus in Australia.; You must have completed BMedSc(Hons) M3701 and achieved an 80 WAM or above.; You must have undertaken the MD-PhD pathway at Monash University through one of the MNHS Schools supporting this Scholarship* AND submitted their PhD thesis for examination.
