Flinders University

The scholarships enable suitably qualified applicants to proceed to a full-time master degree by research or doctorate by research. Commencing and continuing students are eligible to apply.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, or international students; have completed honours or equivalent at Flinders University no more than 3 years prior to the application closing date; have completed at least 4 years of tertiary education studies at a high level of achievement and have an appropriate Honours 1 or high 2A (or equivalent) undergraduate degree; be enrolling as full-time students (part-time awards are available in certain circumstances); be commencing or continuing a Master or Doctorate by research; and have had their candidature accepted in the area in which they propose to undertake their studies.

Amount $26,682

The scholarship provides: a stipend of $26,682 per year (2017 RTP rate, indexed annually); a RTP place, which provides an exemption from tuition fees; and generous allowances and leave provisions. Tenure is 3 years for a PhD (plus a possible 6-month extension) and 2 years for a master by research.
