The travel grants are to assist research students in the Faculty of Science and Engineering with meeting expenses involved in attending an overseas conference.
Eligibility
Applicants must: have completed at least 1 year enrolled as a postgraduate research student; not be in full-time paid employment or on fully-paid study leave for a period of 12 months prior to the closing date for applications; and otherwise be unable to attend the conference for which they have applied due to financial reasons. Selection is based primarily on academic merit. Consideration will be given to financial need and the relevance of the conference to the student's postgraduate study.

$2,000
The grants are valued at up to $2,000, to be used to assist with airfare and living expenses.
