AJ and IM Naylon Honours Scholarship

Flinders University

A generous bequest from the estate of AJ and IM Naylon has enabled the establishment of the AJ and IM Naylon Honours Scholarship. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students enrolled in an honours program offered by Flinders University and undertaking a research project relevant to Australian agriculture, particularly in the areas of biodiversity and conservation, biotechnology, environmental health, environmental protection, and inland aquaculture.

Eligibility

The scholarship recipient must: normally be enrolled full-time at Flinders University and be commencing an honours program or have completed 108 units of a 4-year bachelor’s degree program and commencing the honours component of that program and undertaking a research project in agriculture and not in receipt of any other scholarship concurrently with the AJ and IM Naylon Honours Scholarship. Scholarships are available to part-time students in exceptional circumstances, which include (but are not limited to) disability, illness, or carer responsibilities.
