Biomedical Engineering is a Master's degree studied simultaneously with another undergraduate engineering degree. The BE/MBiomedE degree integrates a four-year BE degree and an 18-month MBiomedE degree into a single five-year full-time degree with Biomedical Engineering courses taken from year 1. Biomedical Engineering is the application of engineering analysis and techniques to problem-solving in medicine and life sciences. Biomedical engineers bridge the gap between clinical medicine and the increasingly complex world of medical technologies.
