A Master of International Hotel Management prepares you to lead and manage hotel operations in the global hospitality industry, while building connections with leading hotel brands around the world.You will explore core business concepts such as management, marketing, revenue generation, research, critical analysis and leadership – all through the specialised lens of hotel management and the wider hospitality sector. In your second year, you’ll complete a professional placement with a hotel organisation, applying your knowledge and skills in a real-world setting.
Structure
Delivered both on campus and online, the Master of International Hotel Management comprises of 11 core subjects, one elective, and two compulsory industry placement subjects. Each subject requires 24 hours of study per week (made up of classes and self-directed study). Assignments may include essays, reports, presentations, case studies and reflective journals, with no formal exams.
Standard entry requirements
Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree (AQF Level 7) OR Applicants without formal qualifications are eligible to apply if they have three (3) years of supervisory/managerial work experience. Applications will be assessed on a case by case basis.
