Graduates will gain the skills to systematically plan, manage, and evaluate diabetes care and diabetes services in a way that supports a contemporary, integrated, and multidisciplinary approach to client care in a variety of practice settings.


12 credit points. The course is delivered online where students enrol in single subjects studied sequentially over an 8 month period, however, students must also attend a residential block subject in Cairns.

Completion of an AQF Level 7 bachelor degree in nursing or other clinically-based health or allied health qualifications, or equivalent: and at least 12 months post-graduation experience working in that field.
