The Master of Public Administration provides a comprehensive foundation in the core skills required to effectively manage the business of government, not for profit and international organisations, with a specialisation in public administration.
Structure
To qualify for the Master of Public Administration, a student must complete 72 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic.
Standard entry requirements
- Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
- Students who have completed a Graduate Certificate in Public Administration, a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy, a Graduate Certificate in International Relations, or an approved equivalent, but not an undergraduate degree, must also meet a GPA requirement.
- However, the Dean (Education) may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for candidature.
