The Master of Nursing program is specifically tailored for registered nurses in Australia who aspire to enhance their contribution towards the development of healthcare services and the nursing profession. Structure

To qualify for the Master of Nursing, a student must complete 54 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic.

Standard entry requirements

  • Applicants must have completed a Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution and
  • Must be currently registered to practice with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse and
  • Must be currently registered to practice with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse and
  • Have a minimum of 2 years full time equivalent work experience as a registered nurse within the last five years.
  • However, the Dean (Education) may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for candidature.
