The Master of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) reflects Flinders Universitys strength over many years in instrumentation, control systems and robotics, including computer vision, renewable energy systems and electronics for medical devices. This degree will allow you to be a part of the next generation of electrical and electronic technology professionals. Designing and developing electrical and electronic devices is the responsibility of professional engineers, who are playing an increasingly important role in the development of smart infrastructure for autonomous automotive vehicles, aerospace and maritime engineering; bioinstrumentation; intelligent robotics; environment monitoring, smart cities and a low carbon economy.

To qualify for the Master of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) a student must complete 72 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic.

Standard entry requirements

  • Applicants normally must hold at least one of the following:
  • The Flinders University Graduate Diploma in Engineering Science with a Major in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
  • Completion of year 1 topics in the Flinders University Master of Engineering Science, undertaking the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Major
  • A relevant Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering Technology, Bachelor of Engineering Science or
  • An equivalent overseas qualification
