Study Health Services and Rehabilitation in Australia

Australia offers a wide variety of courses in the health services and rehabilitation field. At VET level, courses prepare students for roles as healthcare assistants, supporting professionals such as nurses and pharmacists. VET courses may also train graduates for specialised roles, in areas such as mental health, aged care, remedial massage and herbal medicine. At higher education level, students can choose from a wide variety of health specialisations, including dietetics, human movement, paramedic practice, public health and a number of complementary health disciplines, such as Chinese medicine, homoeopathy and naturopathy. Rehabilitation specialisations in Australia include chiropractic, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, optometry, podiatry and speech pathology.
