The University of Sydney Scholar Chancellor's Award is awarded to students who demonstrate an outstanding performance in their Year 12 results, achieving an ATAR of 99.95 or above (or equivalent).

Eligibility

Applicants must: have achieved a minimum ATAR of 95. Tenure requires the recipient to maintain an excellent academic record. International and NZ students applying for admission through the UAC are also eligible to apply.

Further details

The scholarships are awarded automatically following the release of ATAR results in December, although students must be enrolling as a local student and have a University of Sydney course preference on their UAC application to be eligible. Continuation of the scholarship each year is dependent on continued enrolment and excellent academic record, with an average mark of at least 75, that is, at Distinction level.

Amount $10,000

The scholarship is valued at $10,000 per year for the duration of your undergraduate degree (including combined degrees).
