The scholarship was established in 1972 by a bequest of the sum of $20,000 under the will of the late Robert Edward Leslie Macmillan, Fitter and Turner of Brisbane, who died in September 1970.

Eligibility

Applicants must: have completed at 32 percent of the Bachelor of Engineering or the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). Selection is based on academic merit and financial need.

Amount $3,500

The scholarship is valued at $3,500 for 2 year.
