The QUT Women's Re-Entry Scholarship (WRE) is funded by QUT'S Research Budget and is awarded to a woman who has suffered a significant interruption to her academic career and wishes to undertake a doctoral degree at QUT so as to update their research credentials in order to advance their opportunities to qualify for an academic position.

Eligibility

Applicants must: have achieved honours 2A or equivalent; be commencing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Professional Doctorate; and be enrolled as a full-time student (or approved part-time).

Amount $27,596

The scholarship is valued at $27596 (2019 RTP rate) up to 3 years. There is also a relocation allowance valued at $1,520.
