The scholarship is awarded by the Mathematical Sciences Institute (MSI) to a student entering the honours year of a bachelor degree in either the Department of Mathematics or the Department of Computer Science.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be enrolled in the honours year of a bachelor degree offered by either the Department of Mathematics or the Department of Computer Science; be undertaking a research project deemed to be an appropriate mix of both areas. Selection is based on academic merit. Consideration will also be given to reports from academic referees.

Amount $5,000

The scholarship is valued at $5,000 for 1 year.
