Alex Rodgers Travelling Scholarship

The Alex Rodgers Travelling Scholarship is offered to up to 2 Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics (RSAA) graduate students to travel abroad with direct relevance to their thesis work.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens, or permanent residents or international students; be current full-time RSAA PhD students; and intend to undertake travel abroad with direct relevance to their thesis work. The scholarship will not be awarded to fund an overseas observing run. Selection is based on the scientific merit of the program, benefit of the program to RSAA and the student, and the effective use of the funds from the scholarship.

Amount $6,000

The scholarship is a one-off payments valued at $6,000 for 1 year.
