Eligibility: Applicants must: be from outside of Canberra and the ACT region; be immediate school leavers, or have taken a gap year and not enrolled in any tertiary program during that time; be intending to complete an environment-related major; have taken subjects or have life experience relevant to the study of the environment; achieve an ATAR or equivalent of at least 95.00; and have applied via UAC to enrol in an eligible program. Eligible programs are: Bachelor of Science; Bachelor of Science (Advanced) (Honours); Bachelor of Science (Resource and Environmental Management); Bachelor of Science (Forest Science); Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (Sustainability); Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (Sustainability) (Honours); Bachelor of Global and Ocean Science (Honours); Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours); and associated combined degree programs. Selection is based on academic achievement and contribution to the community. Tenure is dependent on satisfactory academic performance.
