1968 Singapore Colombo Plan Students/Memorial Scholarship

University of Newcastle

The scholarship was established by a group of Colombo Plan Students from Singapore who studied at the University of Newcastle from 1968 in the then Faculty of Engineering. The purpose of the scholarship is to commemorate the fond and happy memories of their stay at Newcastle and to show their appreciation to the Australian and Newcastle community who helped them with their University education during their formative years.
Eligibility: Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be enrolled in the second year of an undergraduate program within the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment; be enrolled full-time; not hold another scholarship; not have previously received this scholarship; and not have previously completed a degree. Selection is based on academic merit and financial need.
