A W Howard Memorial Trust Research Fellowship

The aims of the Trust are to encourage and promote research and investigation in the fields of natural science and social science, including economics which relate to the development, management and use of pastures. The Trust annually awards up to 3 Research Fellowships for PhD studies in fields relevant to these aims. Successful applicants are recognised as AW Howard Fellows.
Eligibility: The AW Howard Memorial Trust Incorporated seeks applications from suitably qualified students in agricultural science, science, natural resource management, agricultural economics and social science, who are undertaking or commencing approved postgraduate tertiary studies (master or doctorate degrees) that relate to the development, management and use of pastures, including sown pastures, rangelands and natural pastures, forage and hay crops, pasture seed crops and multi-purpose (grain + graze) crops. The fellowship is open to Australian postgraduate students enrolled or intending to enrol at any tertiary institution located in Australia, or students who have been continuously resident in Australia for 3 years immediately preceding the closing date of applications.
