- Taken in English, in any creative writing genre approved by the Board of the Graduate Research School. Independent, supervised creative writing and research towards the preparation of a thesis on a topic related to one or more aspects of the creative work. At the end of the program, students must present for examination a piece or pieces of creative writing prose, poetry or drama, which must demonstrate technical accomplishment and imaginative resource
- and a thesis of 15,000 words on a topic related to one or more aspects of the work presented.
