This combined program lets students gain first-class legal knowledge and skills, and a strong grounding in the fundamentals of business. The Law content includes all the subjects required for admission as a legal practitioner in Australia: legal practice and ethics, contracts, torts, criminal law and procedure, equity/trusts, civil procedure, evidence, constitutional law, property law, administrative law and corporate law. Students choosing to specialise in a business area can select from: human resource management, information systems, international business, management, marketing or tourism, leisure and event management.

Recognition

The degree is an approved academic qualification for admission to the legal profession, subject to accreditation. Graduates must undertake a further period of practical legal training before being admitted as a legal practitioner.
