The Master of Project Management uses 'A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK? Guide)' as a framework. It is the international industry-standard approach to project management that can be applied across different industries, businesses and government institutions. Students graduate with the skills and knowledge to apply project management methodology to specific professional field(s) of expertise; work in interdisciplinary project teams; and assume the role of project manager from inception to commissioning. There are opportunities to network, exchange ideas and share experiences with practising project managers as well as other professionals. As part of this degree, students do a major integrated research project which can focus on a real issue in their workplace.

Standard entry requirements
- Bachelor degree from a recognised higher education institution
- OR completed Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Project Management from a recognised higher education institution. International students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained the required standards prior to admission.

Endorsed by the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM).
Study pathways
The degree is offered as part of a suite of four programs (graduate certificate, graduate diploma, a 1 ? year and 2 year master). At master level, students can choose to complete an additional six months of study to expand their academic knowledge and explore an area of interest within the project management field. Students can exit this degree with the Graduate Diploma in Project Management after completing the first eight courses.

Further information
Students who have completed a degree or post graduate study in project management or a related area, may be eligible for Advanced Standing. Depending on the qualification, students may be able to complete the master in either one or 1.5 years of full-time (or equivalent part-time) study.
