Through this course we will arm you with advanced professional knowledge, technical and analytical skills in the field of urban planning and planning regulation. You can choose to study either full-time and part-time, and delivery is through a suite of flexible modes that are innovative technology-facilitated, practice-based and research-led approaches. You will further specialise with a subject range which covers global cities, technology, urban economics and infrastructure development. If you are intending to progress to the Master of Urban Planning and Design, you will be required to engage with research methods and, as part of the preparation process for the extended project which forms part of the final master award, you will have the opportunity to complete a detailed planning report, focusing on innovation.

Structure

24 credit points. The course is delivered using a combination of flexible modes with traditional teaching methods comprising lectures, tutorials and workshops and field trips. A number of units are available in intensive mode. Online content for the core units will be progressively made available.
