Want to explore a whole new world of thinking? Our Master of Advanced Economics is suited to students with high-level economic understandings and quantitative skills, who want to move into cutting-edge research. This program offers a direct pathway into research-based degrees such as the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or the Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Economics. You might design policies to distribute water and natural resources between farmers, industry and consumers. You could prepare interest rate recommendations for central banks, evaluate development aid policies or advise on the impact of trade agreements on jobs, investment and wages. Perhaps you'll look into the structure of the health care system or the economic impact of carbon taxes.
