Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil) / Bachelor of Arts

University of Adelaide, The

Type of institution: University/Higher Education Institution
Level: Undergraduate
CRICOS: 00123M

This program equips graduates with a multidisciplinary skill-set. In this combined program, students study the concepts of civil engineering and undertake an arts major of their choice. Civil engineers create and maintain much of the physical infrastructure of society while managing and conserving natural resources. With designated courses from both disciplines counted towards the combined degree program, the degree can typically be completed in five years (full-time), compared with seven years if undertaken separately. At the end of the combined degree, students will graduate with one parchment. Combining two areas of study offers graduates not only a more diverse experience at university, but also greater scope of career prospects.
