This one-year degree provides Australian registered nurses and International students with the opportunity to upgrade their qualifications to a Bachelor's degree level. Please note that this degree does not lead to eligibility to apply for registration as a nurse in Australia.Nurses play an important role in the healthcare system and are involved in a range of care activities that are designed to provide care for people with acute, chronic and complex health conditions. Nurses are integral in the treatment of individuals, families, communities and populations.

Structure

The program of study will be chosen in consultation with the Program Coordinator. Programs of study are based on their previous qualification, the extent of professional experience, study load and session commencement date.

Standard entry requirements

Applicants must be Registered Nurses, eligible for registration in New South Wales or their home country, and have obtained their initial qualification after 1972.

Study pathways

Advanced standing of up to 24 credit points may be approved for candidates with post-certificate qualifications and experience. Academic advice is required.
