This program provides students with an ability to teach in all learning areas of the curriculum, together with Religious Education (if desired); the strong integration of theory and practice; coursework that is contemporary; professional reflection on practice; exposure to emergent learning technologies; attainment of all employer and government requirements; and (if necessary) formal registration demands. It also provides accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or requirements to teach in a Catholic school (if this option is elected). The Bachelor of Arts allows students to pursue at least one discipline for the full length of the degree. The purpose of providing a broad range of options is to enable students to build a stimulating and varied program whilst at the same time graduating with genuine in-depth knowledge in their chosen fields.
