Learn how the environments in which we spend our lives are formed and fabricated in our Bachelor of Design (Interior Architecture) (Honours). Apply conceptual processes, creative tools, management strategies and develop research skills to design a variety of public and private interior and spatial projects. Structure

Successful completion of the Bachelor of Design (Interior Design) (Honours) requires students to complete units of study to the value of 400 credit points. All units of study are valued at 12.5 credit points unless otherwise stated.

Standard entry requirements

Successful completion of Australian Year 12, or equivalent overseas qualification. VCE Prerequisites: Units 3 and 4: a minimum study score of 25 in English (or equivalent) or 30 in English (EAL) and Units 3 and 4: a minimum study score of 20 in one of Art, Interactive Digital Media C or VCE VET Creative and Digital Media, Product Design and Technology, Media, Studio Arts or Visual Communication Design.

Recognition

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) allows students to gain credit (advanced standing) towards their course in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training. Applicants are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Study pathways

Pathways allow students to progress from one qualification to another where the first course is recognised as an entry requirement and/or provides advanced standing to the second. Credit is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience and allows students to gain advanced standing towards their course. Applicants are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
