Support for learning
- QUT College courses are designed to provide students with a successful transition to university.
- An essential aspect of students’ learning journey is the development of academic skills. QUT College students study units which have been designed to ensure academic skills are taught and developed.
- Academic support built into students’ study includes Learning Forums, Language Labs, STEM labs and lectures on Understanding Academic Integrity.
Support and Counselling at QUT
We know that starting university studies can be challenging, so QUT’s Welfare and Counselling staff are here to help.
- Students have assistance with a broad range of personal, practical and financial issues that may arise during their study.
- Free and confidential appointments are provided by QUT qualified professionals at both Kelvin Grove and Gardens Point campuses.
Activities Club
- College students can join the QUT College Activities Club.
- It is free to join and a great way to meet other students through fun social activities.
- A range of activities are available throughout the semester including Music Club, cooking classes, sporting events, or taking day trips to places like the Gold Coast and Byron Bay.
