Standard entry requirements
- A completed recognised Bachelor Degree in law (or equivalent) approved for admission by the Australian legal profession admitting authorities
- Or currently studying for such a degree, award or equivalent with no more than 2 units to complete by the date the course commences and neither of those units is a unit commonly known as the 'Priestly 11' and the applicant has the Legal Practitioners Admissions Board's permission to start the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice while they complete those units.
This course satisfies the practical legal training requirements for admission to the legal profession in Australia.
Students may receive advanced standing based on previous learning or work experience within a solicitor's office. QUT advanced standing rules apply.
