This program prepares students for careers involving the application of information technology to science. It gives students the ability to use creative as well as analytical methods to solve scientific problems. In the science component, students complete a set of core units to support advanced level studies in specialist areas. Students select a science major and undertake laboratory work, and may participate in fieldwork. IT students build and apply creative, innovative IT solutions across diverse industries to gain deep understanding within their chosen major area of computer science or information systems.
