The program is designed for students who wish to develop and utilise their mathematical ability and interest in conjunction with developing their knowledge and skills in the area of information technology to degree level. It offers a foundation in mathematics and information technology in the first year. Students will then select integrated strands combining units from the areas of applicable mathematics, computational mathematics, statistics and information systems or computer science.

An honours year is available in either Mathematics or Information Technology. Students may be able to claim advanced standing for part of their course, on the basis of completed or partially completed studies, and other assessable learning outcomes.
