Structure

48 credit points (4 units) of coursework units. Students may nominate a major from the areas available and choose units to the value of 48 credit points. Alternatively, students can complete the certificate by completing 24 credit points of core units and 24 credit points of optional units across a number of areas.

Standard entry requirements

  • Completed recognised Bachelor Degree in justice, or criminology, or criminal justice, or business, or urban development, or engineering or similar discipline
  • Or a completed recognised Bachelor Degree in any discipline plus a minimum of 3 years professional work experience working in applied law, or a completed recognised Bachelor Degree (Honours), or a Graduate Certificate (or higher qualification) in any discipline. Alternative entry may be granted on provision of no less than 5 years relevant professional work experience.
