With a broad and rich knowledge of the societal structures, politics and religions of the ancient worlds you’ll not only gain an appreciation of historical concepts, you’ll learn how to apply those concepts to complex questions that affect contemporary global, national and local relationships between societies and people.In the Graduate Certificate of Ancient History, you’ll engage critically with the cultures of the ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern worlds. You’ll develop your understanding of how past societies developed and interacted worldwide, and you’ll read ancient sources and literature from different historical or archaeological disciplines.
