AQF level 7 degree or equivalent that includes the equivalent of one year appropriate study in primary school curriculum.

Recognition

The Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) in association with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT). Graduates of this course are eligible for teacher registration in Australia.

All students (including those enrolled in the External delivery option) are expected to attend a three-day induction course on either the Cairns or Townsville campus before the start of the course.
