This course has a strong clinical focus and gives students a comprehensive grounding in biomedical science through the study of the normal functions of the human body and the mechanisms of disease. Years one and two include foundational anatomy, physiology, microbiology and biochemistry studies. Third year students develop skills to make independent evidence-based decisions that inform other health practitioners. In their final year, students undertake an honours year that includes clinical placements throughout north Queensland, and Australia.

  • Suitability to Work with Children Card (Blue Card)
  • Australian Federal Police check.
