In this double degree, students will gain an in-depth understanding of Asia's political, economic and cultural environment, preparing students to work as both an expert on Asian affairs, and as a professional in the chosen commerce specialisation. As part of the degree, students will gain practical experience and expand their professional skills through Griffith in Asia initiative courses such as internships, study tours, exchanges and employability courses. Students will gain an understanding of the core concepts of commerce including accounting, economics, business statistics and management, and build on these foundation studies with their chosen major. In the Asian studies component students will learn from leading experts and develop expertise and key functional skills in areas such as cultures and civilisations, economics, international relations, globalisation, and politics and government.
