This course contains a core thesis unit only. It is a requirement that two-thirds of this course is undertaken by research and only one-third by coursework.

Standard entry requirements

Specifically, applicants require a relevant degree with a semester weighted average (SWA) of 70 per cent or better or an equivalent qualification. Applicants with a SWA of less than 70 per cent will be required to undertake appropriate bridging units. Selection is based on academic performance, the potential to undertake research, professional references and an interview.

Credit reduces the amount of learning required to complete the course and may be granted for formal education qualifications, non-formal learning from non-award programs of study and informal learning through work experiences.
