This course is designed to introduce students to the multi-disciplinary subsea engineering profession. It has been developed in close collaboration with the subsea industry to ensure the syllabus is comprehensive. It provides broad based study of offshore oil and gas development and subsea infrastructure.

Structure
Core units only. Students study 200 credits of core units encompassing the key aspects of mining engineering skills and knowledge, across the breadth of the industry, including mineral exploration, mine planning, design, engineering, optimisation and management of mining operations.

Standard entry requirements
Specifically, to enter the Graduate Diploma of Subsea Engineering course, students must have passed an Engineers Australia recognised Bachelor of Engineering course. Students with extensive work experience and suitable science background will also be considered.
