Chisholm Institute - Secondary Education

Chisholm Institute is an award-winning Australian Government TAFE based in south-east Melbourne. We offer bachelor degrees, advanced diplomas, diplomas, certificates, English language courses and great pathways to university. Over 40,000 students from 47 countries make up the student population enrolling at Chisholm each year.

Senior secondary school study at Chisholm provides students with the opportunity to achieve the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), an internationally renowned senior secondary school qualification. This qualification provides admission to universities in Australia and around the world. The two-year program may be reduced to one year or one and a half years with an assessment of overseas senior secondary qualifications.

Upon successful completion of the VCE, students have a choice of courses at Chisholm and are eligible to apply for admission into universities in Australia. The VCE program is also recognised in several countries in Asia, Europe and North America for admission into tertiary programs.

Chisholm can arrange guardianship for students under the age of 18 years (a minimum age of 16 years applies).

Our small class sizes support you at an academic and personal level as you transition to Australia's education system and way of life. The learning experience and skills developed at Chisholm will build your confidence and enhance your chance of success.

Facilities
Chisholm provides state-of-the-art training facilities in all locations. Our Melbourne metropolitan locations allow more room for building modern, well-equipped facilities. Some of the campuses have on-site, fully functioning training environments, such as training restaurants and hair and beauty salons. Access to these facilities gives Chisholm students the opportunity to take theory learnt in the classroom and apply it in a simulated workplace environment.
